Is Your Website Mobile Friendly?

As Wordpress continues to offer more web design solutions for the common user, built-in mobile templates are becoming the norm, offering users a break from having to zoom in and out in order to read text from line to line.

Being mobile friendly is especially important for text-heavy websites with content that is actually meant to be read (magazines, newspapers, etc.).

Most major websites now use mobile versions to encourage users to access the site while they are on the go.

Many sites are choosing not to provide mobile-friendly versions so as to encourage users to download their apps. As I browse on my iPhone today (July 28, 2013) the American Bar Association, National Geographic and Apple's sites remain old school, most likely for that purpose. Apps are likely to take over cell phone browsing completely in time.
